Starting a Presentation

Read this article recently and it made me start thinking about how I begin presentations. I enjoy watching TED talks and I have noticed that many of them start with stories. I like the following recommendations from the article: “I will never forget the first time that…” and “Something you’d never guess about me is…”

One thing that I have learned recently is that your stories help you become memorable in professional settings. Not just any story of course, but one that can help you frame a solid point. So, starting a presentation as if you are preparing to tell a related story would make yours even more memorable.

Share you story!
